Since I am sick and stuck in bed without a voice, I figured I would put together a collection of pictures that didn't seem to make on blog posts but are awesome on their own. Buckle up, here we goooooo.

This past weekend, Mom, Chris and I decided to do an impromptu road trip in honor of my birthday (which is tomorrow) It would have been a terrible idea to travel north because it was Memorial Day weekend....family and crowd city YIKES. We decided to go south and check out the caves in Ohio and they did not disappoint. I got several "cave kisses" so I am ready for my good luck anytime now haha. Caves are so bizarre to me. It's so hard to understand how long it takes for these formations to be formed. Let's pay our respects to the Cave King pictured above. This guy is over 4ft and 400+lbs. Let's not forget the fact that he is 200,000 years old!!!!!!! WHAT!!?!?!??! INSANITY Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would love to visit again. If any of you have the chance, go and visit this place and please PLEASE don't be the asshole who touches the walls. If you do, I sincerely hope a stalactite falls in your head.
If any of you know me, you know I am always getting the itch to change my hair. I didn't want to redye it because I am in love with my green. My previous haircut was growing out and getting ugly and SINGLE LENGTHED :( :( :( :( Soooooooooo that led to this, which I am soooooooooooooo in love with. It makes my green pop and you can see my once blonde hair again :D
Yes, this is my second post in one day! That however is NOT the rare beauty even though it is quite awesome :) Anywayssssssssss I was laying in bed watching WWE Raw waiting for the good stuff to come on when I glanced toward my window. I noticed a weird reddish pink hue along with thunder. I immediately jumped up and threw on some clothes and ran out of the door. I feel like this is one of those rare things that you are lucky to experience. Two of natures most amazing things combined, a sunset and an intense thunderstorm. Man, I love nature!
After a longgggg and awful day, these are the sort of pictures I wanna look at and create. They put me in my dreamy happy place :) Enjoy!
Saturday, the day of adventure. Unfortunately I had to work for half of the day. After I got off work, mom and I went and ate dinner at Steak & Shake. Afterwards we headed to Relay For Life for a bit. I wasn't up for much walking due to stomach pain but it was fun anyway. We left early and were bored so we went out and found these beauties :)
It's Friday, it is time to be lazy and soak in the sun! Some people like to spend their Friday night out on the streets, but I like to kick it with my kitties. If you need us, we will be napping or something. Meow.
I am too eager and stoked to write my whole day 3 post, so I am just going to write about the concert that just ended less than an hour ago. Holy Shit. Soooooooooo amazing. My ears are so blown out by the awesomeness. I ended the night with a crazy mess for hair and a bloody mouth. That's how you know you did it right. Here's a few quick photos.
Day 2 of vacation didn't start out the best, as we were running later than I had wanted but it turned out amazing! We went to McDonalds for breakfast and then headed off to explore. First we hit the beach to find lighthouses and enjoy the warm sunny day (and get more burnt to a crisp, Fried Shannon anyone?) I just love to feel the wet sand and lake water on my bare feet. After this lighthouse we went on a quest to find the next lighthouse. It didn't go so well. We have about as much direction as that one Bad Religion song...eventually we found it :) It was time to hit the trails and see some trees and wildlife! The first trail we walked on was amazing. We saw so many wild animals (deer, mink, turkey, geese(gross), chipmunk, heron and more) The second trail we went on was fun at first! It had pretty trees and lots of green life but it would take a turn for the worst. About halfway through the trail, it went out of the woods and was in a giant boring field. The temperature went up ten degrees and the sun was blazing. To make matters worse we had to trek through deep sand which made it much more tiring. We decided to take a shortcut out of the trail. BAD IDEA. We ended up on the road somewhere in the middle of who knows where. We asked a few people and they didn't know where we were either. Eventually we ran into a nice couple who offered us a ride to find our car. YAY! After that fiasco we headed to the beach to enjoy the sunset and such. Suddenly, the sky started turning cloudy and had weird shapes far off on the horizon. It rapidly started moving towards us as seen the photos. Ice cold wind started blowing at crazy high speeds as the clouds moved closer to the shore. Everyone started running for the street screaming we are all gonna dieeeee! I of course was still standing there like an idiot snapping these amazing photos. I threw on my sunglasses to keep the sandstorm out of my eyes and ran for the car! We made it just in time because the storm blasted in 30 seconds after shutting the door. I will probably never se something like this again in my life. It was amazing.
