I have been feeling rather inspired today so I decided to go through some photos that need to be seen, but haven't been previously posted. What better subject for me to post other than trees. My inspiration, my deep artistic love. It wasn't hard for me to find good photos to go through since I have thousands of tree photos. Here are some of my favorites that I wanted to share. Hopefully everyone can love trees a little more from these photographs.

First off, I would like to apologize for the lack of posts, there has been a lot going on in life and I haven't been feeling very creative. However, I plan on ending that soon. I'm also working on getting an official site put together. Don't worry I'll still have an "entertaining" blog to read on it. It will just be more professional and official. Now, as you can tell by the title, this post is not about this blog per-say more about my amazing night last night. Finally some time for some fun after nonstop work and other boring stuff. I didn't feel like it was real the entire day or even in line that we were going to see BB. Mom and I fell asleep and didn't arrive til about 7. Oops. The line was wrapped around the entire block and we were near the very back. We've never been so late to a GA show before but we weren't feeling like standing around in the cold all day when we knew we weren't aiming for the front of the stage. Shockingly enough, I only saw ONE crazy "homeless" person the entire time while in line. That's a first. When we finally got inside we went straight up to the balcony since the floor was packed tight and full of tall assholes. We got a prime spot surprisingly which was great. All of the dumbasses thought they would get close to the stage even if they showed up late. In your dreams kids. The people around us weren't too bad either which was nice haha. Except someone kept practically shitting their pants the whole night. It was gross. Starset came on and I was happy since I had just happened to get their CD enough to know the songs they played. I wasn't sure how they were gonna sound in an acoustic setting but I was really happy with their performance. I was a little sad they didn't play Dark On Me but it's all good. Mom was very happy with their Bowie tribute and even got a little misty haha. Good job boys. The crowd seemed to be really into it which was nice since some acoustic sets don't go over as well with jerky fans. NOWWWW THE WAITING BEGINS............DAMN IT BEN STOP TAKING SO LONG HAHA. The wait for the band you are dying to see is always excruciatingly long and this was no different. I was sending Ben telepathic messages to play one of my three songs on their set (Unknown Soldier, Evil Angel or Dear Agony) And then the lights went out. Screams and palpable excitement exploded as the band walked onto the stage and took their places. I was losing my shit at this point haha. Then the first chords of So Cold started and everyone freaked out. I kept thinking damn Ben is a giant hahaha. The entire set was amazing, it was by far the best set I've seen of BB.
Let me just take a brief moment to fangirl over the fact that they REALLY PLAYED UNKNOWN SOLDIER LIKE WHAT!!???? My telepathy must have worked hahahahaha. I was beyond excited and felt it way deep down in my soul. Maybe even got a little emotional about it. It was amazing. Give Me A Sign was also a surprise and amazing because of all our lights shining. That is one of my favorite moments at any event, when all you can see is all the auidences lights. It is so relaxing and peaceful it makes me happy. I have nothing but good things to say about the entire set it was a phenomenal show. Everyone was on point and killed it. It was amazing the whole time they were playing it felt as though everything was really alright and would be alright in life. That's a feeling you rarely feel in life. So thank you BB for giving me that. So after the show ended we made our way to the merch stand once I saw that there was a RED BB shirt. Finally something that wasn't black. Although, I loved the BB shirt with the tree on it. It was awesome, I would have bought it too but not enough cash. I bought the red shirt and a patch for my jacket and I was satisfied....until.....the merch girl said it was 40 dollars to meet the band and get a CD signed. I said, what the hell and bought a pass. Let's be honest, when are you gonna meet Breaking Benjamin for 40 dollars? Never. Not something I was gonna pass up. Mom and I managed to get in with my one CD & wristband. God bless me looking like I am 14 hahahaha. It was nerve wracking to wait until everything was set up, knowing the cold dead eyes would soon be upon me lol. The line started moving and they were whipping through it quickly and can't say I blame them. When it was our turn I put the CD down and started talking to the band. They were really nice, Shaun really dug my hair and I told him he needed to stop slacking on coloring his considering we have practically the same hairstyle haha. Then came Ben....DUN DUN DUN. LOL. Just as scary as I figured. Being that close to the cold dead eyes is enough to make a grown man cry...haha just kidding. Ben was really nice and actually chatted with us :) I thanked him for playing my song and shook his hand. It was so cool. I was a little bummed I didn't have my CDE shirt though. Next time ;) Count on it. Overall it was a killer night with an amazing end! My favorite day of the week, the day to explore<3 It was a very cold day today so I made sure to bundle up while also rocking my amazing new Amity shirt<3 We headed out to a further away location to get some great shots. It worked out well because by the time we got there, it was the golden hour! How perfect! I love when I happen to catch it, it is the only time I don't hate the sun. It was gorgeous today! Although it was very cold, it was a very fun and enriching walk. I felt so peaceful and relaxed afterwards. Here are some of the shots...
What other way is there to start the new year than with new amazing hair? I'm so in love with it, it is so soft and fluffy<3
It's December and it is 60 degrees outside. I am honestly pretty bummed about it, where is my snow and cold weather in December? Winter is my favorite season and this is the worst one. Anyway why not go for a nice hike and enjoy the weather right? That is what I did and I managed to have a great photography day<3
I don't know why it has taken me so long to write this. Probably because I had a whole nice post written out and it got deleted by my phone and I was pretty pissed off. Anywayyyyy....I decided to finally get my tattoo that I have been waiting to get for awhile after the hike. I went into the shop and found out I could get it that night at 9pm. Woah I was nervous. We had a few hours to kill so I decided I needed a good meal beforehand and went to Chilis. 9pm rolled around and it was time to rock. We had to wait a bit in the shop for everything to be set up and such. Mom and I got high kicks out of the weird flash tattoos that were in the books. Let's just say there were some robot on human action tattoos in there. Haha. The tattoo itself did not hurt really at all and turned out amazing. Here is a few shots :) A special thanks to The Amity Affliction for giving me such inspirational words that help me get through the days!
Yesterday was quite the eventful day which is why I broke it into two sections so each part of the day gets its own proper attention. When I woke up I did not feel like doing anything at all. I had such a hard time getting going but the weather said it was foggy so I had to get out. I looked out the window and didnt see anything so I was kinda bummed. Once we got driving to the park it was foggy as hell. YESSSSSSSS. If you know me, you know that fog is my favorite thing in life to shoot. It was very cold yesterday but I didnt care and had to get my fog photos while I could. Here they are:
Last week on Black Friday, I bought Mom a new leopard gecko because we had just lost our long time friend of 14 years Caesar. It's name is Mango. While we were there, we saw an employee holding a tiny little hamster and it was just so calm in her hand and just layed there. I went home with just the gecko and went on with my week. All week I kept thinking how strange it was for hamsters to be so sweet, especially in pet store. I thought of hamsters I wanted when I was young that all crawled up my arms and were so awesome that I didn't get. I never let mom live that one down. Well, today happened to be pay day and we had to go to the pet store anyway to pick up a scratching post and food for the rats. There was the hamster still in the cage....one thing led to another and I ended up holding her and I was sold. I brought her home and realized that the cages were only wire and that willow would attack my new friend (cuz she's a real cat) I had to take to the Internet and find a new idea. I refused to put her in an aquarium because that would limit all of her fun tunnel possibilities. So I discovered this new trend called bin cages. Thank Mew for DIY people. I got the idea and headed to Walmart. Finding a good sized bin was difficult, finding a lid to match it was way more difficult. We decided on a 85 liter to begin with. I plan on adding more levels and various tunnels for my new baby. Obviously, there had to be oxygen supply and there-in lied the interesting part. We had some
old junky cages outside in the shed so we decided to take one apart and hammer it into the' lid which was more difficult than it sounds. Carving through the lid to make oxygen holes was very hard and took a lot of muscle and a sick desire to stab something. I have both. After a couple hours we got the wire cage pieces secured into the lid safely. Now came more fun, how to decorate it full of fun activities. We have so much room for activities. And well, here is the result of our hours of labor and love. Today I felt like I needed to see some beautiful creatures so we headed to woods that are known to have lots of deer around. We haven't had much luck as of late but considering it is rutting season we decided to test our luck once again. Before we went on the hunt we stopped by the water to appreciate the rough waves that were rolling into the rocks. I love to watch the rough creepy water in the winter even though it awakens my nightmares of drowning. Too damn cold by the water...off to the deer! The first bunch of deer were not close enough to get a lot of good photos of so we decided to keep moving and find some more. Yay there were some more deer within shooting range ;) Score. After photographing the deer and hearing mom squeal over their cuteness we decided to head to the woods for a walk. By the time we got inside the sun had set. It was pretty cool walking in the dark not knowing how many animals were staring at us that we were oblivious to. All in all, it was a pretty nice adventure although a bit chilly. Can't wait for the next adventure.
Until next time...... |
