I am beyond behind on posting on here, don't be mad at me. I will be back now and stop being lazy! I can't recall the details of my last adventure from a few weeks ago so I just posted those pictures solo in the previous post. Now I want to share some amazing photos that I just took yesterday. I was asked to take a friend from work's senior photos so I accepted. I had no idea how it would go but it turned out awesome. I spent a bunch of time thinking of original ideas because you know how I hate unoriginal and boring photography. It is especially bad in portraits because everyone thinks they are an artist. Anyways...........here are some of the photos from the shoot. I am super proud of these.

Another Saturday, that means another adventure! Yippee! Mom and I headed off to a new location with excitement. The car rides are always amazing, nothing I love more than blasting good music and hanging with my best friend :) It was a hike to get there but it was so worth it. Trying to find some hiking trails was a bit confusing but when we did we were amazed. As soon as we began, I noticed this beauty, ruler of the forest! I was in awe and spent probably around 45 minutes trying to capture its dominance. These pictures don't even do it justice but you can get the jist. I loved it and I will be back to photograph it again! There were so many interesting plants and giant trees which made my soul so warm especially with all of the pretty fall colors. I was super excited that we arrived at the park later on in the day because then I got to capture the golden hour and oh man was it gorgeous. I did not want to leave this place. So much beauty! It was also exciting for Mom and I to really test out our phone cameras in all of the beauty. They did not disappoint and we never lost service wooo<3 Amazing difference from before. Everything smelled so fresh and had that amazing fall smell. I couldn't get enough of the clean and leafy air. Nothing compares to a walk in the woods on a fall evening. Mom was obsessed with this tree and how it split into 5 different trees further up. I however, was more entertained by the fact that the tree had a massive dong. Hahahahahha. As seen in the photo above. As the sun got lower it was time to capture some beautiful sunset shots that I am very proud of. I had fun showing Mom how to position to get the coolest shots with the sun and leaves in the frame. Here are a few of my favorites! Near the end of our hiking adventure we finally found a spot to get down by the water so Mom didn't have to cry that she didn't get to touch it. It was breathtaking down there. I kept saying "I wanna live here." Mom was having fun looking at little minnows while I snapped away. I hope all of you can feel the warmth and amazement in these photos as we did while seeing it in real life. We hung out here until the sun had set and then we needed to figure out something to eat because we were starved. Our original idea got destroyed when the place was closed early ;( so I pulled out my GPS and looked for something else. We decided we were gonna head to Potbelly but we did not know that it was in downtown Ann Arbor...ughhhh. It was so much worse because the Michigan game had let out not too long before. It was a madhouse down there. We finally found a place to park which was miles away from Potbelly so that was out. We sat in the car and looked around and I noticed a girl sitting down on a stump. Then suddenly she took her pants off and was stumbling around naked. People on the street just ignored her as she fell over bare assed. We were about to get out and help her or call someone when a few good citizens stopped and helped her. Its disgusting how many people just walked past. Yes, it was stupid she was that hammered, but at that point she needed help before some sick bastard got ahold of her. After that fiasco was over we walked down the street and got a very interesting sub at a pizza place. It was surprisingly very good. The weirdness of the night would continue however. When we were almost home, I saw a lady in her van driving while snuggling an unwrapped cheeseburger to her cheek. Yes I am sure it was a burger. Weird weird weird. People never fail to amaze me. All in all it was an amazing and memorable day! Can't wait for another...
Until next time....... I've been wanting to write one of these posts for awhile and a recent influx of comments on my art improving lately just fueled the fire. I myself have seen a drastic difference in my work not only in technical aspects such as shooting and also in the creative aspect in editing. Recently, I had gone back through old wrestling photos I shot to find certain things and I was cringing at how bad they were compared to now. Yikes! Nobody likes to see that, especially a crazy perfectionist artist like myself. So let's begin... I still like this picture but it is so obvious that flash was used it annoys me and limits the amount of editing possibilities. There is also that obnoxious forhead shine that I can't stand. It is nice and crisp but it could be better. This photograph is soooo much better. It is not all flashed out and it provokes a lot more emotion. The rest of the ring and arena aren't distracting and the editing is way better as well. I'm so glad I got a faster lens and better at photoshop haha. I've also been pretty excited at my artistic side coming out more when shooting wrestling shows. I've been playing with focus more and doing more to make shots more interesting and not just like the rest of wrestling photos out there. Give them some of my artistic vibe to them. Here are a few examples... Nowwwwwwwwww let me enter my rant once again about photographers with no passion...please do NOT call yourself an artist if you simply take snapshots with no emotion, feeling, or passion. It is insulting to all of us who actually put ourselves into every work of art we make, especially when you charge a fortune to do it. There is so much of this in every art form and it is disgusting. You are a joke and you are NOT an artist. Rant over. Now let's switch over to some nature shots. A big difference in my nature photography is that I found my thing that makes my art unique to me. It takes a long time to find that but I have and I am very proud of it. I still like this photo don't get me wrong but it is kind of typical and flat. Nothing makes it pop or stand out in a crowd. I'd still like to be there right now though so that is good. Ahhhhhhh<3 This one makes my soul warm and pop out of me. It makes me so happy. It has so much feeling, mood and depth and it is also my soul in a photograph. I understand not everyone likes this kinda nature shot but it is what I create. It represents me way more than the previous picture. In summary, never stop working and trying to improve your work. It will always improve even when you don't notice it yourself. I just proved that with this post.
