and go somewhere totally different. It sure didn't disappoint, which is part of the reason this post will be broken down into parts. I have too many awesome pictures to fit into one post. So here we go with what I've gotten done today!
Oh my favorite day of the week :) Mom, Chris and I decided to make a day trip up north to a place Chris had discovered last weekend. I was excited of course to go up north and go somewhere totally different. It sure didn't disappoint, which is part of the reason this post will be broken down into parts. I have too many awesome pictures to fit into one post. So here we go with what I've gotten done today! My feet enjoying some fresh air and freedom from feet prison aka shoes. Our first stop was a place we were scoping out to do some star photography later on that night. We stopped there and enjoyed some fresh air and the water for awhile before hitting the road again. After this we kept heading toward our second destination but hit some beautiful and interesting spots along the way. First we ran into a store that also had several intersting animals in enclosures out front. I of course was infatuated with the BEAUTIFUL MAJESTIC foxes. pffftttt....I'm not crying from their cuteness, who is crying? After I stopped having a heart attack over the foxes, we took off for next destination. This place was beyond beautiful and I will only show you the beginning of it in this post. First of all let me say..HOLY STAIRS!!!!! So many stair to go down/up. It is soooo worth the work out though. This was the first of a few viewing balconies. It was so peaceful and breathtaking except for the stupid other people there talking about how some guy splatted on their car from a building. Classy thanks for sharing douche bags. Anyways...back to the beauty I'll have to leave you with these beautiful photographs for today. More tomorrow I promise ;)

I don't know why I never got around to a Saturday Adventure post last weekend, nor an XICW post, and now I'm behind on a hair post. So we'll put them all in one. Last Saturday Mom and I went for a walk in the rain, we didn't care. I love the rain and I kept my camera inside of my hoodie so it was safe. It was so relaxing and reviving to feel the cool rain on me in the woods. The place we went to originally was INCREDIBLY lame so we decided to find another place to go. The second destination was much more satisfying<3 Essentially meaning it had lots of badass gorgeous trees and these young ladies :) Skip forward to Sunday which was XICW. I feel like I took some of the best wrestling pictures of my life that night. It was so cool to be so excited about these photographs. Here are a few of my favorites. I'm so stoked at how they turned out so well. I guess focusing and really getting in the zone makes a big difference haha.
Soooooooooooooo I decided it was time for a hair change! I left green to rest til another time and went to my favorite color and one of my favorite hair colors! I had to have two shades so light purple on bottom and deep purple on top. Nothing makes me happier or feel more creative than a rainy day. The gloomier the better. I never get tired of rain, I love it always no matter what. I get so overjoyed when it starts to rain, and everyone looks at me like I am psychotic. Well, I may be, but my rain love isn't why. These are some of my favorite pictures I have taken in a while. They are so me. My style my feelings my emotions. And here is one happy cheerful one for all of you weird bright people....
Hooray Saturday finally came. It was even more exciting because it was my only day off of work this week. I wanted to get out and get some nature pictures so Mom and I drove over an hour away to a good park. Car rides with the windows down and good music playing are my favorite thing. When we arrived there were quite a few families there (Eww) since it was the holiday weekend. I wanted to get away from the loud obnoxious families so I walked over to this little scum pond to look for frogs or turtles. At first I didn't see anything but then I spotted this little guy just chilling He was a cool little fella, he let me get really close to him to take this pic :D Thanks buddy. After hanging w this little slimy guy we started to walk on the trail to be stopped by a group of stupid people watching cranes. I was happy to be able to take their picture but nooooooo....These people did not control their kids and they chased the cranes away. Come on people, these things could have destroyed your kid, learn to be a parent please. After the ignorant people left the cranes came right back out and walked right in front of us, completely unafraid. Every couple of feet we would walk down this trail, a chipmunk would run in front of us. They would get really close but I wasn't taking my chances of it eating my face or my camera lol. I've seen too many videos of such things. Further along in the trail, we came across the horrendous hill that I made a very vicious tumble down the last time we were there. I was having flashbacks of smacking my head on the rocks and flipping over tearing up my entire back. Not fun. This hill is NOT MY FRIEND Walking in the woods is just so peaceful and relaxing. I could stay in the woods forever and never become unhappy If anyone needs me, I'll be hiding in the woods away from society...
It has been a loooooongggggg week and I haven't had a chance to get out and take any pictures since Saturday. So, I decided to go through old memory cards and see if there was anything worth posting. I found my long lost WWE pictures from 2013 that I have been searching for. Helllllllooooooo :D What a find ;D I'll keep my fangirling to a minimum. Okay okay, getting a little carried away here....onto the next memory card. Aww look how cute, Mom and I on my graduation :) and me.......with LONG BLONDE hair...haha what a change Well that's a wrap on Flashback Friday....
Adios I was completely unaware it was World Photography Day today until I signed online and saw it all over in hashtags. What kind of photographer would I be if I didn't make a
post today? I initially thought of not posting at all because "everyone is posting today" but I decided that was stupid. Any reason to post is a good one. So I got off of my lazy butt and got out my camera. We were supposed to get crazy intense storms which I would have been excited to shoot. Needless to say, that did not happen, at least not yet. So I did what I could with what nature provided me. Today I woke up around 1:30 after a great sleep. As soon as I woke up I answered some work calls (ugh) and then wanted to get moving on art. My artistic soul was exploding. Mom and I headed to the woods as usual for a walk before our dinner plans w/ our buddy Matt. It was a hot but nice day for a walk. I wanted to get some pictures of my new hair in the sunlight to show its awesomeness. Here are some of those: excuse all of the selfies ;) The woods in this area have grown to be a lot more green and lush than they have been in previous years. Always nice to see nature getting healthy again. Walking in woods always makes me so relaxing and peaceful inside. I didn't take many photos but here are a few. We finished our walk around 4:30 and started to head downtown to meet up for dinner. Everyone decided to drive like an asshole so I was not amused with that and my lack of faith in humanity increased a bit more. We parked and headed down to Mercury Bar in Corktown. It was very inviting, I didn't know what to expect since I have never been to this area before. They had a lot of interesting choices of burgers which they are famous for. I was really excited to try these legendary burgers as I am a burger lover. Oh My God they did not disappoint. The meat was so juicy and had such good flavor. They gave me about 15 pickles on my burger oh yeah. Wooooo. We enjoyed yummy food and great conversation w Matt. Very nice to hang out in a different setting. The manager of the place was a total douche bag but everything else was awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It is awesomeee. After our yummy meal we went our separate ways and Mom and I drove around and listened to great tunes w the windows down. Two of my favorite things. A perfect way to end a good day :) We happened to run across these babies on the way home
During our trip to Pennsylvania, we had stopped at a park to walk on nature trails. What would a road trip be without hiking?! As we began walking down the path, we noticed a random railroad track on the side of the path that led to nowhere. It was so weird. Why was there rail road tracks in the middle of nowhere that ended abruptly? What was it's purpose? Where is the rest of it? Is this some kind of vortex to the underworld? The weirdness did not end there. We found a way into the actual woods and noticed a strange abandoned building. We could not figure out for the life of us what it could have possibly been before it blew up. Why would there be a random concrete building in the middle of the woods? It makes no sense which made it all the more exciting to shoot. As we adventured farther in, it started to smell really foul and weird. We decided to bail after that. We didn't wanna be the next victims of this strange place. It was amazing to shoot though. I've been so lazy and putting off writing this post. Now I am forcing myself to get writing :) Mom, Jeff and I decided to head to PA for a wrestling show he wanted to attend. It was fun to see Pittsburgh and different areas than we were in before. Jeff's road rage made me laugh when I wasn't asleep. It was a fantastic day to enjoy the outdoors. Perfect weather, perfect sky. I hate a plain blue sky and I hate overcast We decided to visit this petting zoo/barn type thing. It was pretty lame compared to what I am used to with my Moos. I of course had to track down the barn cat and make it get its picture taken. Fluffy baby. Part two of this post will come soon!
Adios ;) Sorry for the lack of posts. I have been focusing on other forms of artistic expression the past week or so. I am also waiting for a new lens to come so I will
definitely post photos that I take with it the day it comes. Sooooooooooooo here are some deer to butter everyone up for my lack of posting ;) Enjoyyy. |
