I am too eager and stoked to write my whole day 3 post, so I am just going to write about the concert that just ended less than an hour ago. Holy Shit. Soooooooooo amazing. My ears are so blown out by the awesomeness. I ended the night with a crazy mess for hair and a bloody mouth. That's how you know you did it right. Here's a few quick photos.

Day 2 of vacation didn't start out the best, as we were running later than I had wanted but it turned out amazing! We went to McDonalds for breakfast and then headed off to explore. First we hit the beach to find lighthouses and enjoy the warm sunny day (and get more burnt to a crisp, Fried Shannon anyone?) I just love to feel the wet sand and lake water on my bare feet. After this lighthouse we went on a quest to find the next lighthouse. It didn't go so well. We have about as much direction as that one Bad Religion song...eventually we found it :) It was time to hit the trails and see some trees and wildlife! The first trail we walked on was amazing. We saw so many wild animals (deer, mink, turkey, geese(gross), chipmunk, heron and more) The second trail we went on was fun at first! It had pretty trees and lots of green life but it would take a turn for the worst. About halfway through the trail, it went out of the woods and was in a giant boring field. The temperature went up ten degrees and the sun was blazing. To make matters worse we had to trek through deep sand which made it much more tiring. We decided to take a shortcut out of the trail. BAD IDEA. We ended up on the road somewhere in the middle of who knows where. We asked a few people and they didn't know where we were either. Eventually we ran into a nice couple who offered us a ride to find our car. YAY! After that fiasco we headed to the beach to enjoy the sunset and such. Suddenly, the sky started turning cloudy and had weird shapes far off on the horizon. It rapidly started moving towards us as seen the photos. Ice cold wind started blowing at crazy high speeds as the clouds moved closer to the shore. Everyone started running for the street screaming we are all gonna dieeeee! I of course was still standing there like an idiot snapping these amazing photos. I threw on my sunglasses to keep the sandstorm out of my eyes and ran for the car! We made it just in time because the storm blasted in 30 seconds after shutting the door. I will probably never se something like this again in my life. It was amazing. (and no there were no ghost pirates) FINALLY!!!! It is vacation time! I felt like these days would never come! Mom and I got up early this morning around 8 and headed out on the road. I grabbed some McDonald's breakfast and was ready to rock.
But I've wanted to come back on here and now I finally have. Today, Mom and I went on our usual Saturday adventure. We decided to revisit a park we went to last year. It was full of life and adventure...(besides when I fell down a giant hill and cut myself up terribly) There were chipmunks and this little birds at every turn. They were so friendly, they would have eaten out of our hands if we had brought food! Yesterday I headed out to Illinois for an AAW show, but had to make a few stops first. As always, we had to go check out some water despite the fact that it was freezing outside. Look! It's a beach bum! Chicago! The lake was very active and a bit nauseating if you kept watching. After our icy water adventures were over, we left the city and headed to our destination. Adorable Christmas Decorations
On my latest trip to Illinois for a wrestling show, I was able to get some pretty interesting photos with my phone. Here is a little collection of some of the things I saw. The wonders of the highway...too bad we weren't heading off to the 80 west tollway! Some cities have their heads on correctly and are sending the right message to the youth of America. Thumbs up to you Berwyn, IL. Other cities like to keep their vending machines in their own personal prison cells. Hippies are still existing in this world. Groovy.
